LMS – Education with Purpose and Impact

City of Faith utilizes the Maxx Learning Management System (LMS) as part of its programming to support personal growth, accountability, and rehabilitation for justice-impacted individuals. Through the platform, participants have access to a wide variety of self-paced courses and educational content, including topics such as Domestic Violence, Parenting, Defensive Driving, Anger Management, and more. Courses can be completed online from virtually anywhere, at any time.
The Maxx LMS platform is widely used within the justice and reentry field, and many courts, probation officers, and attorneys refer individuals to the City of Faith Special Services division for course access and completion. Participants receive a certificate upon successfully completing each course.
As part of our residential programming, City of Faith provides residential clients access to these courses at no cost. In addition to required coursework, participants also have access to more than 30 free courses and podcasts, along with unlimited access to the platform.
The online learning platform is designed to provide participants with flexible and accessible learning opportunities that can fit into daily responsibilities, employment schedules, and reentry goals. Courses can be accessed on laptops, tablets, smartphones, and desktop computers, allowing individuals to complete coursework at their own pace and on their own schedule. Participants receive immediate access to course content upon enrollment, and no additional books or printed worksheets are required.
The 30-day access period gives participants time to work through material without unnecessary pressure while still encouraging accountability and completion. Certificates of completion and reports can also be provided directly to case managers, courts, probation officers, or attorneys when needed.
