Lisa Lavergne

Lisa Lavergne, Baton Rouge Facility Director

Lisa LaVergne came to work for City of Faith after a long, rewarding career with the Bureau of Prisons. In 1991, Lisa worked as a Case Manager at FCI-LaTuna and was promoted within five years to Unit Manager in Beaumont, TX. She remained there for 15 years. During this tenure she wore many hats including Alternative Disciplinary Hearing Officer, Acting Executive Assistant and Associate Warden. Reassignment came later and like all good BOP employees, Ms. LaVergne happily relocated to the Designation and Computation Center for the next three years with her responsibility being designating federal inmates from one BOP facility to another.
In December, 2013, Lisa was promoted to Camp Administrator requiring her to be responsible for 263 inmates and stayed in this position until her retirement in 2017.
We are most fortunate to have Lisa on our leadership team at COF where she has been since November 2018. She brings wonderful knowledge, experience and gifts to our program and we are most grateful.
