Lance Fudickar

John A Fudickar was born on September 5, 1972 in Ferriday, Louisiana

 

Graduate of Huntington Academy High School (Ferriday) in 1990

 

Attended Northeast Louisiana University from 1990 to 1996 earning a Bachelor of Science Degree

 

Attended LSU School of Allied Health from 1996 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science as a Physician Assistant

 

Began Community Medical Practice in 1998. Established a walk-in primary care service in the rural communities of St. Joseph, Newelton, Ferriday, and Vidalia, Louisiana.

 

Moved to Baton Rouge in November 2000 and worked for six years in the Urgent Care and Occupational Health Fields. In 2006, John joined Dr. Graham Tujague, Dr. Kevin Dibenedetto, Steve Sellars, and Michael Whittington to form Premier Health Consultants, LLC. Premier Health specialized in joint ventures with hospital systems and urgent care clinic startups, utilizing individual practitioners in Louisiana and across the nation.

 

Premier Health has grown to 88 clinics nationally and is the largest urgent care provider in Louisiana with 44 locations. Joint ventures in the state include Our Lady of Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Saint Frances in Monroe, Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria and LCMC Hospital Systems in New Orleans.  John is currently Medical Director for Advanced Practice Providers at Premier and serves on their leadership and the administrative teams.

 

John’s current affiliations include LSU Schools of Medicine in New Orleans and Shreveport, as well as Our Lady of the Lake School Allied Health in Baton Rouge. He is an active member of Louisiana Academy of Physicians Assistants, National Academy of Sports Medicine, and serves as a Life Member of the National Rifle Association and Safari Club International.

 

John is currently married to Elise Tatje Fudickar. Elise is a native of New Orleans and has worked since 2010 as a Clinical Research Coordinator for cancer research clinical trials. She is currently employed by Hematology Oncology Clinic in Baton Rouge.

 

John has experience with the criminal justice system through his work at Total Occupational Medicine (TOM) in East Baton Rouge Parish. TOM provides care to the juvenile detention center and the Youth Challenge Program in Carville, La. John has also provided inmate care at Total Urgent Care in Vidalia through The City of Faith, a partnership with Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office.  He has a personal connection in working with the criminal justice system due to a close relative being incarcerated multiple times as a repeat offender. The City of Faith gave this relative the opportunity for rehabilitation and the guidance needed to successfully return to society as a contributing member. John has personally experienced through faith, family, and community support, that lives can be changed for those who have been incarcerated.

 

John’s business acumen in the health care industry and his broad base of relationships with business leaders in East Baton Rouge Parish provide him with a unique opportunity to continue and enhance meaningful messaging and programs that are beneficial in successfully assisting those returning to society after incarceration.
